I have been speaking to Smithy yesterday about the game at Wyre villa. Sounds like you boys nearly got your first point. It shows progression that the young lads are getting closer to getting that first result. Unlucky boys keep your chins up and good luck in the next game.

Couldn't fault anyone on Sat, we were quality from back to front and they really had to throw the kitchen sink at us to get the crucial 3rd to make it 3-2. The previous five or so mins they were literally playing four or five up top.

Looking back at it, all three goals were avoidable but it was the second that gave them the energy to push on, as we'd seen off everything they threw at us throughout the game. Despite everyone blowing for the last 20 (so were they) they all put in a terrific shift and a draw would've been a fair result.

Even bigger game on sat, Millom at home in the cup. They're 2nd bottom in the league and (before deductions) have two points more than us - we're on minus 3 by the way. If we play as well as we did on Sat then they'll know they've been in a game!

Good luck tomorrow pal against millom, fitness is the key in the west lancs if you get the lads very fit you have half a chance because most teams play up and at them football. Thats what made crosshills difficult to play against on there own patch. Limited time on the ball and nasty with it. Keep it going i'm sure crosshills will get through it.
